In Cambodia everyone eats "Morning Glory" (Ipomoea aquatica), a plant that grows in water and supplies daily food to the poorest.
My leaf-shaped Morning Glory coffee and tea spoons want to remember the greatness of small things, the generosity of nature, the strength of life and also the importance of solidarity.
In fact, this project is part of the "Gioie D’autore" collection made by  Il Nodo, a non-profit organization that operates in Cambodia to help children and young people in need.

The spoons are made by hand from a sheet of silver, brass or copper, they are shaped and folded.

In Cambogia tutti mangiano il "Morning Glory" (Ipomoea aquatica), una pianta che cresce nell`acqua ed è presente ogni giorno sulla tavola dei più poveri.
I cucchiaini da tè e caffè, a forma di foglia di Morning Glory, vogliono ricordare la grandezza delle piccole cose, la generosità della natura, la forza della vita e anche l’importanza della solidarietà.
Questo progetto si inserisce infatti nella collezione "Gioie D’autore" de Il Nodo, organizzazione no-profit che opera in Cambogia per aiutare  bambini e giovani  e le loro famiglie in stato di bisogno.

I cucchiaini sono tutti realizzati a mano a partire da una lastra d’argento, ottone o rame, sagomata e poi piegata.
